FREE paramedical education is offered to eligible students at Sree Renga Hospital, Chengalpattu, in collaboration with the Govt of Tamilnadu's Puthu Vaazhvu Thittam.
A team from World Bank inspected the hospital, the facilities available and interviewed the students on Oct 6, 2015, as part of the programme's progress evaluation process.

World Diabetes Day is on November 14th. Our events to mark the occasion begin today.
Sree Renga Hospital, Chengalpattu has been actively propagating the message of preventing Diabetes through various activities: FREE Blood Sugar Screening and Awareness camps (over 68,000 people screened for free), mentoring of Student Diabetes Clubs in 186 Govt-schools in the district of Kancheepuram (2005 – 2010), publication and distribution of 1500 copies of a FREE monthly journal on Diabetes education, Patient – Physician Interaction Sessions, Puppet shows etc.

The hospital marks World Diabetes Day with events such as FREE screening tests for Blood sugar, Blood Pressure, Eye, Dental, Foot and Obesity, FREE Diabetes Awareness Exhibition and Rally, Diabetes Complications Screening Camp (Micral, HbA1C, Fundus), Cancer Screening in women (breast and cervix) in association with Penn Nalam Hospital, Chennai, Distribution of prizes to the winners of Essay, Speech, Drawing, Cookery competitions conducted for school and college students and, for the public and patients.

Cap Ceremony for the new batch of students at Sree Renga Hospital, Chengalpattu
The Cap Ceremony marks a milestone in a paramedical student's progress through the curriculum. The College is proud to decorate the students of the Class of 2016 who have embarked on a career of Clinical Care.

  Narbhavi Community College and Narbhavi Institute of Paramedical Sciences, the teaching arms of Sree Renga Hospital, Chengalpattu have been offering one-year courses in various hospital departments such as Nursing, Operation Theatre, Laboratory, X-Ray, Dialysis and Emergency Care. These courses are approved by bodies such as the Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU), the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS).
